Joining a cohort of 400 high-achievers was both inspiring and challenging, driving unexpected growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Summer \u2013 Full of Energy<\/strong> We arrived with excitement and ambition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Key Learning: Embrace Open-Mindedness<\/strong> Interacting with diverse peers fostered personal growth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fall \u2013 The Pressure Begins<\/strong> Recruiting pressure and coursework were intense. Support from my C-LEAD, peers, and second-year students was crucial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Key Learning: Find Your Tribe and Time Management<\/strong> Building a support system and scheduling activities balanced the demands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Winter \u2013 The Toughest Season<\/strong> Recruiting challenges brought rejections and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Key Learning: Learn to Pivot<\/strong> Plans B, C, or D often work better than plan A.
