The OLs focused on fostering belonging, promoting a growth mindset, and building community during orientation week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Events like game nights, ice cream outings, and a closing ceremony at Gryphon\u2019s Pub helped new students integrate into the SOM community. Team-building activities, such as navigating a ping-pong ball across tracks, encouraged collaboration and adaptability, reinforcing a growth mindset. Students also participated in theater workshops to enhance their skills through feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Community norms, co-created by the students, established a foundation of shared values such as \u201cHold strong beliefs lightly.\u201d As a result, students began organizing their own events, taking ownership of the community.
