Project Read\u2019s AI tutor will use generative AI to create personalized, decodable text stories tailored to each child&#8217;s proficiency and previous reading errors. This ensures stories are at the right level and target specific areas the child needs to improve on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Engagement is Crucial:<\/strong> Ramakrishnan emphasizes that the technology must be engaging. If children aren&#8217;t interested, even the best intervention won&#8217;t work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Focusing on Teachers and Schools:<\/strong> Originally intended for parents as well, the Project Read app will now be developed as an \u201cAI co-teacher\u201d for the Science of Reading.
