90 minute coaching sessions three times a week in groups of five where comprehensive materials are reviewed and discussed in a board-room style setting.
Ad-hoc one on one coaching sessions scheduled between the mentor and the client. This is to address specific concerns and build a better understanding of the individual’s career aspirations.
Open office hours when the mentor will be available for clients to discuss and receive additional training and guidance. Mentors are also generally available through online chat on the Beacon coaching platform.
The first half of the program is devoted to GMAT preparation through an intensive structured approach with a mix of one-on-one meetings and small classroom sessions to substantially improve your score and elevate your candidacy
By the summer clients will have taken the GMAT. This month will be for clients to recharge and refresh (the client will not be billed for this month although mentors will continue to be available for phone calls and online chats)
Clients will finalize their target schools and start drafting applications.
Between September 2020 and December 2020 clients will finalize their application essays, and resumes. They will have identified their recommenders and Beacon will guide the recommenders on how best to write a positive recommendation. Some clients will be done by September while others will require more time.
Clients are given revision and diagnostic materials to be completed between in-person sessions. The materials build on the course content covered during in-person sessions. To monitor and evaluate progress, clients will take monthly GMAT practice exams.
We use the same integrated interactive coursework and communications platform used by top business schools and companies. Practice exams and revision materials are all provided digitally. The platform monitors every question that clients attempt and uses cloud-based pattern recognition algorithms to pinpoint weaknesses. These are delivered to the mentor as real-time insights with recommended performance enhancement strategies. The mentor then uses the analytics to provide personalized advice to the client.
