Who is it for?

For those based in Delhi looking to get a business school degree such as an MBA or a Master of Management. In the past we’ve supported those outside of Delhi – including people in California, Australia, and Dubai – through online sessions. Reach out to discuss plans that may work.

I have no work experience. Can I still apply?

Yes! For those without work experience we offer coaching for master’s in management programs in the USA and Canada. We have also helped place clients with exceptionally strong backgrounds into accelerated MBA programs like Harvard’s 2+2, and Yale’s Silver Scholars program.

Which programs have you helped clients get admission to?

Our clients have gone to each of the top 20 MBA Programs including Harvard, Stanford, Booth and Wharton.

We have had clients get admitted into Harvard’s 2+2 program, and Yale’s Silver Scholars program.

What differentiates you from others?

You can read more about our differentiators in the ““Home””, “Story”, “Approach”, “Programs”, “Team”, and “Ethics” parts of the website. Just a few of the highlights:

-We treat our clients with the respect they deserve – everyone is on a first-name basis, and in-person sessions are provided in high-end board-room style facilities befitting business leaders of the future
-We have fully embraced the power of technologies such as neural networks and cloud-based real-time analytics to dramatically improve client performance

Who are the mentors?

All of our mentors have experience in the west and write and speak using the language and mannerisms common in the west. You can read more about our team here.

What is the time commitment?

For Beacon Elite the in-person sessions take place three times a week. Each is approximately 90 minutes.

Beyond that one on one meetings are scheduled on an ad-hoc basis. This depends on the client but takes anywhere between one and twenty hours a month.

Clients take monthly practice exams. Each practice exam takes 2-3 hours.

Clients are also given revision materials between in-person sessions. These materials are to be completed in the client’s own time. These typically take around six hours per week.

Therefore in total clients will need approximately 50-60 hours per month over the eight to ten month period for Beacon Elite.

You can read about other programs here.

What equipment do I need?

We strongly believe in the power of technology to give our clients an advantage. Our course content has been developed with digital tools in mind. Clients are expected to have access to a laptop. It is recommended, (though not required) that they bring their laptops with them to the in-person sessions.

Can I dial into the classes?

For Beacon Elite clients are expected to be physically present for the in-person sessions. Our experience shows that this boosts the quality of learning and is key to clients getting admission into top programs. Clients will also have a more enrichening learning experience when they’re able to discuss the materials with their peers.

That said if discussed and arranged beforehand, the mentor will agree to set up a teleconference where the client can dial in if, for example, an upcoming business trip necessitates the client to be out of town, or if there are pandemic related concerns.

For those seeking distance support we offer Beacon Self Directed. You can read about our programs here.

What do Beacon Elite’s fees cover?

You can read about our pricing here. The price covers all aspects of the coaching including GMAT, essay guidance, and interview preparation for as many universities as you’d like to apply to. The fees also cover:
– The cost of practice exams
– The technology licensing fees for the web-based educational software you’ll be granted access to

The fees do not cover:
– The application fees charged by universities
– The registration fees for taking the GMAT
– Visa processing fees for going abroad

Do you offer any sort of guarantee?

If after one week you’re unsatisfied you get a full refund. Note that clients are charged monthly so there’s no commitment beyond the month paid for.

Do you offer coaching for the GRE?

Business programs typically prefer the GMAT over the GRE. As we want to maximize our clients’ chances of getting admission, we only focus on the GMAT.

How much will studying abroad cost me?

It really depends.

Tuition for a Master in Management in Canada can be as little as CA$35,000, or ₹19 lakh. Students can expect little to no financial assistance from the university. This typically leads to a starting pay package of around CA$56,000, or ₹30 lakh.

Tuition for a MBA from Harvard costs US$73,400 per year, for a total of US$146,800, or ₹1.0 Crore over the two years that the program lasts. 50% of students get financial aid depending on their financial situation, and this financial aid can significantly reduce the cost of the program. The average starting pay package for Harvard MBA graduates is US$193,800, or ₹1.4 Crore in the first year.

These costs don’t include living expenses which vary significantly by location.

Beacon mentors work with clients to select universities to apply to based on their financial profile.

Why is it called “Community”?

Because that’s what we are! We stay in touch with our clients through their MBA program and after graduation. The Beacon alumni community now covers hundreds of professionals that provide networking, mentorship, guidance, and start-up finance to Beacon clients that go on to graduate from business schools.

How has COVID-19 changed things?

We’ve improved the ventilation in our learning facilities and instituted social distancing protocols. All our mentors are given monthly COVID-19 tests and daily temperature checks. We have offered more flexibility to clients who’d prefer to dial-in to meetings, though we emphasize that in-person sessions have been found to be far more effective in raising scores.

I’m convinced. How do I get started?
