HEC Paris and Columbia University Launch Unique Double Degree in Sustainability

HEC Paris and Columbia University have introduced an innovative double degree program, granting students a Master in Management from HEC Paris and a Master of Arts in Climate and Society from Columbia University.

Program Structure

Students can complete the double degree in 2-3 years. The program begins at HEC Paris, with two tracks: one covering four full-time semesters, and the other just two full-time semesters. HEC Paris emphasizes general business content, quantitative skills, and environmental and social responsibility.

Gap Year

After their first year at HEC Paris, students embark on a gap year to gain work experience, preparing them for the next phase at Columbia’s Climate School.

At Columbia University, students spend three semesters in New York City, focusing on interdisciplinary problem-solving to address the climate crisis.
