Darden’s Admissions DEI team recently hosted an innovative Women’s Admissions Symposium, blending virtual and on-campus experiences in Charlottesville. Prospective students immersed themselves in networking, panels, keynotes, and authentic connections, gaining insights into Darden’s supportive community.
The symposium featured a vibrant Women in Entrepreneurship panel with founders Cecilia Rios Murrieta (MBA ‘22), Sonia Hounsell (MBA ‘99), and Gretchen Pace (MBA ‘22). The day continued with engaging student and alumnae panels, a lunch with Interim Dean Jeanne Leidtka, and concluded with a networking reception.
The Graduate Women in Business organization led a panel, sharing experiences and highlighting how Darden’s community and their organization empower women in business. The symposium showcased Darden’s commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in business education.
