Ross School of Business Hosts 2024 ClimateCAP MBA Summit

The University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business is set to host the annual ClimateCAP Summit on Feb. 9-10, 2024. This event, themed “Sustainability in Motion,” will convene over 500 MBA students and business leaders to discuss climate implications and innovative solutions in business. Topics include the future of mobility, greenwashing, regenerative food systems, and more, focusing on sustainable and equitable business practices.

Sharon Matusik, the school’s dean, emphasizes the summit’s role in addressing climate change through education and research. The event aims to equip future business leaders with the necessary skills to manage climate risks and opportunities. MBA/MS student Nick Rojas highlights the importance of the private sector’s involvement in creating a sustainable society.

The summit reflects the energy and enthusiasm needed to address the climate crisis, especially following recent legislative developments like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act.
